True Dev is a division under True Group Holdings Co., Ltd., a BOI-certified company based in Thailand. The BOI status allows us to legally employ skilled foreign professionals and operate internationally under Thailand’s Board of Investment privileges.
True Dev has a long-standing history. While True Group Holdings Co., Ltd. was established in 2019, the core development team behind True Dev traces its roots back to 1997, when the business was first founded under the name IT Designer. Since then, we’ve evolved through multiple phases of digital transformation.
We combine the affordability and flexibility of an Asian company with the quality, structure, and mindset of European leadership. Our core principles include future-proof development, thorough testing, clear communication, punctual delivery, and long-term accountability. This unique blend helps us deliver world-class results at competitive rates.
We work with a wide range of clients — from startups and scale-ups to established enterprises — primarily in Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Our clients appreciate the combination of technical skill, process transparency, and cultural understanding we bring to each project.
Our main operations are based in Bangkok, Thailand, with administrative and project management rooted in Europe. We work 100% remotely with clients around the world, offering flexibility across time zones and cultures.
True Dev provides complete IT development solutions, including web and mobile development, backend systems, AI solutions, UX/UI design, and tech consulting. Whether you need a dedicated developer, a full-stack team, or a long-term tech partner, we tailor our service to fit your needs.
We work asynchronously with structured daily updates and milestone check-ins. Clients receive clear reports and direct access to a project manager who bridges communication across teams. This ensures nothing gets lost, even if we’re in different parts of the world.
Yes. Many of our clients begin with a small project or MVP and expand once they feel confident. We offer flexible setups – from short-term sprints to long-term dedicated teams – that scale based on your needs and budget.
You can choose. Some clients prefer full transparency and daily contact with the dev team, while others want a single point of contact through a project manager. We tailor the structure to match your preferences and workflow.
We always have backup staff and overlapping skill sets internally. In case of illness, resignation, or reallocation, we ensure a smooth handover and minimal disruption. This is one of the benefits of working with a company instead of hiring freelancers directly.
We begin with a short consultation to understand your goals and challenges. Then, we recommend a suitable setup – fixed-price or hourly, solo developer or team. Once the scope is defined, we prepare a simple agreement and start immediately.
We regularly work with creative agencies, marketing firms, and consultancies. We can act as a white-label partner or be presented as your external dev team. Our flexible model allows us to integrate into different ecosystems smoothly.
We have intentionally built our entire workflow, communication, and delivery model to function seamlessly without relying on a physical office. Remote work isn’t a compromise — it’s our core strategy.
Our remote setup includes structured project management, version control, peer reviews, and dedicated QA testing to guarantee high-quality results — just like in any top-tier in-house team.
Absolutely. All communication is handled by experienced European project managers. You’ll enjoy clear, timely, and structured updates in fluent English, using your preferred tools (Slack, Teams, Zoom, etc.).
We’re used to working across time zones. Our developers in Asia collaborate closely with our European leads to ensure fast responses and deadline-driven delivery, even when you’re asleep.
Yes, you’re welcome to meet our team in person. While we work with remote developers, partners, and network collaborators across different locations, we’re always open and available to meet when needed. Some teams may be distributed, but we’re never out of reach.
We use industry-standard tools like GitLab, Jira, Trello, Figma, Slack, and Google Workspace to maintain transparency, efficiency, and accountability in all remote collaborations.
We offer two main agreement types: Project Agreements (fixed-scope, fixed-price) and Consulting Agreements (ongoing, flexible, hourly or monthly). We help you choose the most suitable model based on your needs.
Our pricing depends on the complexity, scope, and seniority of the developer(s) involved. We provide clear estimates in advance and always prioritize transparency — no hidden fees or surprises.
Yes, we support both. Fixed-price is ideal for clearly defined projects, while hourly or monthly billing suits ongoing or evolving work. You decide what works best for your project structure.
LFor clients within Thailand, we always invoice in Thai Baht (THB). For international clients, we typically invoice in Euros (EUR) unless another currency is requested.
Yes. We are VAT-registered in Thailand. For Thai-based clients, we apply 7% VAT. For clients outside Thailand, no VAT is charged in accordance with Thai tax regulations for international services.
We accept bank transfers (SWIFT or local), Wise, PayPal, and credit card payments. For PayPal and card transactions, a 5% processing fee applies. Full payment terms are clearly outlined before the project begins.
All code is reviewed internally before delivery. We follow clean code principles, apply version control, and run thorough testing to ensure stability, scalability, and maintainability from day one.
Yes. For most projects, we implement unit tests, integration tests, and automated QA workflows where applicable. Larger systems include separate QA phases to catch issues early.
We highly recommend including a dedicated QA process, especially for more complex or long-term projects, to ensure the highest quality and to prevent costly problems later on.
We are strongly committed to delivering on time. Each project is divided into milestones with clear timelines. Our European project managers keep track of progress and communicate delays proactively if needed.
We stand by our work. After project handover, we offer a support period where we fix bugs related to the original scope. For ongoing needs, we also offer support and maintenance contracts.
Change requests are logged, estimated, and approved before implementation. We stay flexible but keep scope and expectations under control to avoid delays or cost overruns.
If you are working under a Project Agreement, any changes or additions must be discussed and may require a formal amendment, as they can impact the timeline and overall cost.
If you are working with dedicated developers, you have full control over their priorities and tasks. Since you pay for their time on an ongoing basis, this gives you greater flexibility during development.
We typically use Jira, ClickUp, or Trello combined with Slack, Google Docs, and version control systems like GitLab. This provides full transparency and accountability throughout the project.
We work with both in-house developers and carefully selected specialist partners to offer a complete and flexible solution. Regardless of who is involved, True Dev always oversees and manages every project directly, ensuring our quality standards, communication style, and routines are consistently followed. All partners are vetted, tested, and trained to work the True Dev way.
